Tonight’s date was a bit peculiar in that he was a total
online dating hater. Mr. Hypocrite even described the occurrence as “creepy”
which would be nothing short of skeptic had we not met online. Yes, that’s
right. My Hypocrite found me online, asked me out and began our short lived
coffee date with a monologue detailing all that is wrong with online dating.
Now, he did raise some good points and for a moment I may have been swayed into
deleting my profile until I snapped back to the current scenario and remembered
where I was. What is the point of this and who exactly was Mr. Hypocrite convincing?
I was unpleasantly reminded of the unbearable profile strategy in
which the line reads, “I can’t believe I’m doing this…” Um hello? Everyone who
is reading your shameful confession is doing the exact same thing. Dating is
hard enough but the last person I need making me feel worse about it is the self-sabotaging
date in question.

Sounds like he has a lot of issues to work through before he starts dating.
